What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3.00 pm for the rooms and Suite and from 4.00 pm for the Flat. And check-out until 11.00 am.
What happens if I arrive after 8pm?
If you arrive after 8pm, your room key will be available on the reception desk in an envelope for your attention. In this case, could you please let us know if you would like to have breakfast at the hotel? This will help us to organise the supply of fresh produce for the following day. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements (e.g. gluten-free). If we know in advance, we can order suitable products.
Please note that late check-in are not possible for the apartment “La Madeleine”.
Can you check out after 11am?
Unfortunately, we cannot do late check-outs as we need the time between check-outs and check-ins to prepare the rooms for the next guests. This allows us to ensure that each room is clean and ready to welcome new arrivals.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel before I check in or after I check out?
Whether you arrive before check-in or after check-out, we will be happy to store your personal belongings safely. Therefore, you can make the most of your precious time in Avignon.
Is the area lively?
The hotel is in a pedestrian zone. You'll find theatres, shops, restaurants and all of Avignon's historic monuments in the immediate vicinity. Don't hesitate to ask us for recommendations for the best places to stay, depending on what you want to do.
What are the advantages of booking with us?
By booking directly on our site, you will get the best price. On the top, we will be able to do everything we can, to meet your special requirements: rooms on the ground floor, with a view, in an elevated position etc. It's on our site that you will be the premium access of our best offers.
How can I cancel or change my booking?
Simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll cancel or amend your booking, pending on the booking cancellation policy you choosed.
Are pets allowed?
We do not accept pets.
Rooms & the Flat
How many rooms are there in the hotel?
Nestled in a 17th-century Provençal-style mansion, the hotel offers 11 rooms, each with its own unique decor and architecture. This diversity adds a touch of authenticity to your stay. The rooms are furnished with care, combining the elegance of the past with modern comforts. You'll find comfortable beds, air conditioning and en suite bathrooms.
There is also a very modern and spacious 78 m² flat just 30 metres from the hotel. Take advantage of its terrace to relax and enjoy the cool shade of the patio while being in the peace and quiet of the city centre. You will appreciate the lift that serves the flat.
Can I plug in my electrical appliances at the hotel?
The Garlande Hotel provides electrical adapters on request at the reception. Please note, however, that the voltage used in France is 230V.
Does the hotel have smoking rooms?
The hotel loves good bread, cheese and wine, but it is entirely non-smoking.
How to get to the Hotel?
We remind you that the hotel is located in a pedestrian area. So it is not possible to come by car at the hotel. So please leave your car first at one of the following parkings :
- Parking Palais des Papes, located 6 rue Ferruce (Latitude : 43.95285 | Longitude : 4.805958). It costs around 20 EUR per day. It is not possible to book a place in advance. Then you can come on foot from the parking to the hotel (450 meters).
- Parking de l’ïle Piot : You can also park your car at this free parking. It is located around 1700 m from the hotel. There is a free shuttle linking the parking to the walls of Avignon. Then you will have to walk only 600 meters.
If you come by train, arriving Avignon Gare Centre, come on foot from the station to the hotel. https://goo.gl/maps/6IhFU
If you arrive at Avignon TGV station, there is a train shuttle linking Avignon TGV to Avignon Gare Centre. It costs 2.10 EUR per person. You can also take a taxi which will drop you off in front of the hotel. It costs about 25 EUR. If you wish to book a private vehicule with chauffeur waiting for you at the TGV station (cost 50 €), I suggest you to contact Patrick by email (email@example.com).
Does the hotel have a restaurant?
We are right in the heart of old Avignon, where there are many restaurants. We do not offer a restaurant ourselves, apart from tasty home-made breakfasts.
What languages are spoken at the hotel?
We welcome you in French, English and a little German. All with a good French accent 🙂
Does the hotel take care of your allergies?
Whether you are allergic to feathers, gluten or lactose, we take care of you.
Our breakfasts can be gluten-free and lactose-free on request. Our duvets and pillows are all anti-allergenic.
Do we have baby facilities?
For the little ones, we can provide a cot, high chair or changing mat on request the day before your arrival.
